How do I play?
Tap Insert Token, steer the claw with the joystick, twist it in 15° steps if you like, then press Grab. One token is one drop, and a round takes only a few minutes.
What is Claw Assist?
An optional helper that shows the toy under the claw and an estimate of your grip. A good grip improves your odds but never guarantees a win.
How do I get to the street map?
Win one of every Shibuya plush. She walks out of the arcade and the street opens. After that, the Street button at the top of the screen takes you there any time. The street and the other stages are part of the membership.
How do I move and talk on the street?
Use the same joystick to walk, press A to talk to people, look at signs or go through a door, and hold B to run. Walking up into a door also goes inside.
How do I reach the other stages?
Sell extra plush at the Toy Swap for yen, then buy a ticket at the station. The next stage, with its own machine and eight new toys, appears on the map. Rides back to stages you have already reached are free.
I ran out of tokens.
Free play gives up to 40 tokens a day on your device, and they return at midnight local time. Members can restock any amount at any time, and can also nap at home to refill the pocket.
Why does the street look different at night?
The street follows the clock on your device: fog in the morning, bright sun at midday, golden light at sunset and neon at night.
Do I need to save?
No. The game saves on its own, including a grab that is still in the air. Progress stays on your device. Deleting the app or clearing its data resets it, and we are not able to recover it.
Can I change the language?
Yes. The game follows your device language and supports English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, Spanish and Italian. Change it any time in Settings.
Is there anything to buy?
Free play costs nothing. An optional membership, sold as an in-app purchase, unlocks unlimited tokens, the street map and all four stages. Toy values in the game are fictional, and there are no cash prizes.
The game feels slow or looks wrong.
Close other apps, restart the game and make sure your device runs the latest iOS. Battery Saver in Settings turns off shadows for older devices. If it continues, email us with your device model.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad. The desktop version is upcoming and still being tested.
