Notification reminders are not appearing
Turn on “Notify me” for the reservation or activity, choose the reminder timing, and allow notifications when prompted. You can also open iOS Settings → Notifications → Vacay Trip Planner and confirm that notifications are allowed. A reservation needs a valid date and time before its reminder can be scheduled.
Weather, exchange rates, or nearby places will not load
Confirm that the device is online. Weather and nearby-place results also require a valid destination or saved coordinates. Core saved itinerary details continue to work offline.
How do I import a shared itinerary?
Open a .vacaytrip file from Apple Files, Mail, Messages, or another share source and choose Vacay Trip Planner. Review the trip preview before importing it. The free version may ask to replace its current trip.
How do I install a downloadable theme?
In the app, open Settings → Theme Presets. Paste a valid HTTPS catalog address, tap Refresh catalog, and then tap Install. You can also download a .vacaytheme file, tap Import theme file, and select it from Apple Files.
How do I restore the unlimited-trips purchase?
Open Settings → Unlimited trips and tap Restore purchase while signed into the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
How should I back up or restore my data?
Open Settings → Data and reset. JSON is the complete machine-readable backup format. Markdown is useful for readable exports. Keep backup files in a private, trusted location because a full backup may contain personal trip information.
How do I remove my information?
Use Settings → Data and reset to clear planner data. Travel Wallet includes a separate option to remove encrypted Wallet information everywhere. Delete exported files separately from Files, cloud storage, messages, or other destinations.
